In the last two months we saw the digging of foundations adjacent to the school building which brought about some excitement and hope among the teachers with regards to accommodation. It is amazing to see how time flies. Today, we can see two buildings standing. The first one is a block with two semi detached two bed roomed flats. The second block which has just reached the roof level is a long block with three semi detached flats. The first apartment is a one bed roomed flat, the second is a two bed roomed and the third one is a three bed roomed flat. In total, the school will have five houses to accommodate its staff
Furthermore, it gives a good feeling to know that the first building now painted in and outside, will soon be ready for occupation. The plumbers are just doing some works such as fitting the toilets and shower pipes inside. This initiative will help solve the challenge some teachers are facing concerning distance to the school as they will be just a stone’s throw away from the school. Some teachers cover more than 30 kilometers just to get to the school
Away from that, to the left of the main entrance to the school, you will meet some men digging the foundation in preparation for the school hall. This project has brought a lot of motivation and fresh zeal among the teaching staff and the learners. The hall will consist of two offices, toilets, shower rooms and a space in the centre for different school activities especially assemblies and examinations. For now, the digging of the foundation could only be realized by local contributions to keep the construction going.
